#Unfiltered: You're too much

You're too much. You talk too much, too loud. You call way too much attention to yourself. No one cares about your unique style or individuality. Who has time for any of that? You're a little too passionate for most people to deal with. I mean no one can really like everything, or be interested in everything. After all, the world around us cannot be that interesting.

Honestly, fuck that mentality. This isn't for the people who tell me "I'm too much to handle", whatever that means. This is for  the kids growing up trying to fit into these molds people give them. Because we are taught as children that we shouldn't stand out, we shouldn't call attention to ourselves. And we need to change to attract someone who will love us.

Dear me and all the other kids who grew up with that idea, screw it to the grave. You are unique and you were given ideas that no one else in the world has. You have limitless potential to create the world you want to create.

Seriously, you want to be an artist, today you can do that.
You want to write a book? Being a self published author is a route to success.
Wanna go to school to study engineering? The world is yours to create. It's waiting for you.
Repeat after me, I do not need anyones validation to be what I want to be or do what I want to do.

The world needs you to exist, if you served no purpose to the world, you wouldn't be here. You're not a sheep being lead off to slaughter, you're a goddamn lion(ess). Your worth doesn't depend on the number of people who find you sexually attractive or worthy of attention. You have an infinite amount of worth just for existing and giving yourself to the world.

I am so sorry, the world doesn't tell you this enough.

  1. YES! I am too loud but who even cares!
    Pam xo/ Pam Scalfi♥

    1. Hell ya Pam! Peoples opinions are irrelevant.

  2. I couldn't have put it into better words myself, I think it's so important to live the life you want and to be true to yourself but so many people are afraid to show their true personalities of fear of being judged x

    Beauty with charm

  3. So true! We're just surrounded by these types of negative messages, and it's so difficult (but important) to break free of them!

  4. Awesome post!!! So powerful and inspiring. Thanks for writing with all honesty.

  5. I completely agree especially when people go online and say unfiltered as if they are not still sporting a light amount of makeup not makeup free :-) You brought up great points and I enjoyed reading this so much ;) http://www.bauchlefashion.com https://www.instagram.com/heathernoire89/
